We continue to be in a “Sellers” market. Only 25 Homes and just 19 Condos for sale on Sanibel. Going back 12 months selling prices on Sanibel have increased between 25 and 30 per cent.

History tells us that at some point, prices will peak. Hard to know when this will happen, isn’t it? Here’s what I think, as long as our Inventory remains at historically low levels, and if the economy remains stable, we will continue to experience higher prices. At the same time we see some of our buyers becoming “discouraged” and pulling away from the market…….lessening demand.

I would appreciate any feedback from readers with a different point of view.
