While Sanibel Island may not experience the same type of fall as the North (think warm 70’s and 80’s days vs. scarves and foliage), the autumn months are a special time on the islands. Sanibel is unique in that it offers both the camaraderie and community of a supportive small town with true island living. Throughout the fall, The Sanibel and Captiva Libraries, the Community House, and some of our local businesses are hosts to plenty of festive events that are fun for the whole family. If you’re visiting Sanibel this fall or considering making The Big Move, here’s what you can look forward to this autumn.
